Salzburg Festival head to step down next September

Austria’s prestigious Salzburg Festival says its theatrical director will step down effective September 2009. Organizers say next summer’s music festival will be Thomas Oberender’s last. They say Juergen Flimm will take over for the 2010 and 2011 editions of the famed event.
